Recent rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have led to various incidents claiming two lives, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The deaths occurred due to roof and wall collapses and landslides.
PDMA reports that the deceased include one man and one child. In Lower Kohistan, a man died in a landslide, while in Battagram, a child lost his life when the roof of a house collapsed.
Rain-related incidents have been reported in Buner, Shangla, Abbottabad, Battagram, Lower Kohistan, and Mansehra. Eleven livestock animals were also killed, one house was completely destroyed, and eight homes were partially damaged.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in various cities, including parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, until July 21.
Swat Tragedy: Body of 17-Year-Old Abdullah Found After 21 Days
The body of 17-year-old Abdullah, who drowned in the Swat River, has been recovered 21 days later from the Barikot area.
According to Rescue 1122, Abdullah was a resident of Sialkot. His body was identified and confirmed by the family, and has now been sent to Daska, Sialkot.
Rescue officials stated that search operations had been continuously underway in the river.
It may be recalled that on June 27, seventeen individuals drowned in the Swat River. Four were rescued, twelve bodies were recovered, and Abdullah had remained missing until now.
Of those affected, ten were from Sialkot, six from Mardan, and one from Swat.
Grieving families claimed rescue services arrived an hour and a half late. Meanwhile, their loved ones were stranded on a riverbank, and they watched helplessly as the raging waters swept them away.
