The Manzil Foundation, a transgender-led organization based in Peshawar, has announced that it will distribute 60 hygiene kits among flood-affected transgender individuals, women, and girls in the recently devastated areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly Swat and Buner. Each kit will contain nine essential daily-use items to meet the immediate needs of those impacted by the disaster.

Executive Director of Manzil Foundation and President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transgender Community, Arzo Khan, stated: “Our transgender community has also been affected by the floods and has always been neglected in society. Through this initiative, we aim to show solidarity not only with transgender individuals but also with women and girls so they can find some support in these difficult times.”
