The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Auqaf and Religious Affairs has initiated practical steps to provide financial assistance to minority families affected by terrorism.
In this regard, letters have been sent to all deputy commissioners across the province, directing them to submit complete data of affected families from 2013 to date within 10 days.
According to Wazir Zada, the Chief Minister’s focal person on minority affairs, an important meeting chaired by the Chief Minister will be convened by the end of September to decide on financial support for the families.

He said the process will particularly focus on the victims and martyrs of the All Saints Church attack in Peshawar.
Wazir Zada added that the Terrorism Victims Rehabilitation Act was passed in 2020 and its rules were enforced in 2021. However, the process was suspended following the end of the PTI government and the prolonged caretaker administration.
The present government has now reactivated the initiative and launched serious efforts to provide long-overdue relief to affected families.
