Nazmina Bibi, a resident of Kotka Juma Khan area in Bannu, held a press conference at the Bannu Press Club along with her children and accused the Saddar Police of illegally detaining and torturing her father and brother.
Nazmina Bibi stated that while some individuals in her village are involved in drug trafficking, her family has been repeatedly targeted because of their poverty.
She claimed that her brother, Shaukat Ali, had previously been arrested and imprisoned in what she described as a false narcotics case, and that police had conducted multiple raids on their home in the past.
According to her allegations, SHO Allah Nawaz Khan of Saddar Police Station, accompanied by police personnel, recently took her brother Shaukat Ali into custody and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
She said that in an effort to secure her brother’s release, she approached the court and visited the police station with a court bailiff. However, she alleged that police officers placed her brother in a vehicle and took him away before any action could be taken.
Nazmina Bibi further stated that she was later informed that her brother was being released. When she and her father, Nawaz Khan, arrived at the police station, she alleged that her father was also taken into custody.

Nazmina Bibi appealed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Inspector General of Police, and other senior authorities to immediately release her father and brother or, if any charges exist against them, present them before a court in accordance with the law.
It should be noted that these allegations were made by Nazmina Bibi during the press conference. The police have not yet issued an official response regarding the matter.
