In Peshawar, flour prices saw a sharp increase within a single day, raising concerns among citizens.
According to the Flour Dealers Association, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of mixed flour has increased by Rs300. Previously sold at Rs2,300, the same bag is now being sold for Rs2,600.
Similarly, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of fine flour has also been increased by Rs200 and is now being sold for Rs2,700.

Flour dealers say that disruptions in wheat supply from Punjab are causing a shortage of flour in the market, which is driving prices upward.
They warned that if the situation continues, flour could become even more expensive in the coming days.
Meanwhile, citizens have expressed concern over the sudden rise in flour prices and urged the government to take immediate measures to control prices.
