At the ongoing auction of personalized “Marks Choice” vehicle number plates held at the Arena Hall of Qayyum Sports Complex in Peshawar, record-breaking bids were witnessed, with the number plate “Waziristan 1” fetching the highest price.

During the auction, the “Waziristan 1” choice number plate was sold for a staggering Rs 40.6 million. 

It was purchased by Faiz ur Rehman, and the bid is being described as the highest ever recorded in such auctions so far.

The event saw extraordinary public interest, with intense competition for various choice number plates.

On the occasion, the second-highest bid was placed for the “Mohmand 1” number plate, which was sold for Rs 32.1 million. It was purchased by Haji Zahir Gul.

Similarly, the third-highest bid came for the “Pakhtoon 1” number plate, which was sold for Rs 13.2 million.

The auction process is still underway, with bidding continuing for more choice number plates.
