University of Peshawar Faces Severe Financial Crisis Again, Employees Await Salaries and Pensions During Ramadan

The financial crisis at University of Peshawar has intensified once again, leaving employees without their salaries and pensions even during the holy month of Ramadan.

The delay in payments has caused serious concern among staff, who are struggling to meet their household expenses. 

According to the university administration, the institution faces financial difficulties in paying salaries and pensions every month.

Even after the first week of March ended, employees had not received their payments, causing growing anxiety among them.

The additional expenses during Ramadan have worsened the situation, putting more financial pressure on several employees. 

Sources say the university administration is actively working to resolve the issue and hopes to secure funds from the provincial government soon to ensure timely payment of salaries and pensions.

Meanwhile, employees have urged the government and university administration to immediately control the financial crisis and find a permanent solution to the delays in salary payments. 

Employees stated that the lack of salaries during Ramadan has made it difficult to cover daily necessities.

It is worth noting that University of Peshawar has been facing financial problems for some time, resulting in frequent delays in salary and pension payments. 

Employees hope that the government will find a long-term solution to prevent such situations in the future.
