In a compassionate move to support students impacted by recent natural disasters, the University of Malakand has announced a special provision for applicants from flood-affected areas, including Buner, Swat, Bajaur, and Lower Dir.
Under this initiative, the university will offer one additional seat in each of its BS programs, excluding the disciplines of Law, Pharmacy, and Software Engineering, to students from these districts. What makes the offer particularly noteworthy is that no tuition fee will be charged for these special seats.
The decision reflects the university’s commitment to ensuring that educational opportunities remain accessible, even in the face of natural calamities. “This step aims to provide critical academic support to students whose families have suffered losses due to the devastating floods,” stated a university representative.
