Unidentified armed men kidnapped two government teachers in Bannu district on Monday. According to police, the incident occurred near Government High School Musakhel, in the jurisdiction of Haved police station, at a location known as Falak Sher Mandai.

The abducted teachers have been identified as Headmaster Rafiullah and teacher Nisar Ali Shah. Eyewitnesses said the armed men forced the two teachers into a vehicle at gunpoint and drove them to an unknown location.

The motive behind the abduction remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility so far. Local administration and law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation and begun investigations. Meanwhile, the teaching community has expressed deep concern over the incident and demanded the immediate recovery of the abducted teachers.

It is worth noting that twelve people have been abducted from Bannu over the past month.
