A comprehensive strategy has been finalized to ensure transparent and fair registration of the affected people of Tirah Valley. According to sources, the registration process will be completed in phases to prevent deprivation of genuine victims.

Sources said that in the first phase, tokens will be issued to the affected families at Tirah Valley Bagh Center. In the second phase, biometric verification of families will be conducted at a temporary camp in Painda Cheena, located towards Bara and away from Bagh Center. Meanwhile, cash assistance under the rent allowance will be distributed at Sepah Mandi Khas, an area near Bara, towards Peshawar, approximately 100 kilometers from Tirah Valley Bagh Center.

According to sources, this decision was taken by the 24-member Tirah Committee after a large number of people from Bara, residing in Peshawar and Khajuri Bara, reached Painda Cheena and began registering in large numbers, which was affecting the genuine victims.

In this situation, families directly affected by the operation were not only being deprived of registration but were also facing serious difficulties in obtaining compensation.

Sources added that due to road closures and unnecessary congestion, there was a growing risk that the genuine and displaced tribes of Tirah Valley could be left out of the registration process.

To ensure transparency and fairness in the registration process, it has been decided that only those vehicles coming from Peshawar and Khajuri Bara will be allowed to proceed to Painda Cheena which are carrying displaced affected families, while individuals coming solely for registration purposes will not be permitted.

Official sources said that the purpose of this measure is to ensure that the genuine displaced victims of Tirah Valley receive their rightful entitlements in a timely and transparent manner.

Meanwhile, former Federal Minister Hamidullah Jan Afridi, in a statement to the media, said that he visited Painda Cheena and later the central Bagh ground in Tirah to review the issues faced by the displaced people of Tirah Valley.

On this occasion, he met Assistant Commissioner Bara Talha Rafiq, Tehsildar Dawood Afridi, and members of the 24-member committee, including Maulana Hazrat Khan, Kamaluddin, and Akbar Khan.

Hamidullah Jan Afridi demanded that the concerned authorities increase the number of staff at registration points, reopen the Arhanga and Serae Kandao routes, include the Zakhakhel tribe in the registration process, and also include other areas such as Mandray, Zangi, Daray Naghri, Sandapal, Darwata, and Takhtakai in the registration process.

Former President of Khyber Union Pakistan Bazar Gul Afridi, Haji Halim Shah, Gul Ahmad, Turab Ali, Ibrahim, and Kabir were also present with him.

Hamidullah Jan Afridi further stated that he would meet senior authorities to resolve the issues of the affected people of Tirah Valley and to ensure the provision of facilities, and would hold detailed discussions for immediate action in this regard.
