In the Nyag Banda area of Mamond tehsil in Bajaur, three members of the same family lost their lives after the roof of their house collapsed. The deceased include two young girls and a woman.

Another woman was injured in the incident and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where she is currently under care.

Local residents took part in the rescue efforts on a self-help basis and pulled the victims out from under the rubble. According to local sources, the room had become structurally weak due to recent rains, which led to the roof collapsing.

Residents of the area have urged authorities to identify dilapidated houses and take necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
