Dera Ismail Khan: Terrorists opened fire on a police party in the Wanda Badd area of Paniala police station, killing four police personnel, including SHO Faheem Mumtaz Khan Marwat.

According to police sources, the officials were on routine patrol in the area when the attackers suddenly launched the assault.

 During the incident, DSP Paharpur Circle Adnan was also critically injured and was shifted to a nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment.

Following the attack, a heavy contingent of police reached the site and launched a search operation to apprehend the perpetrators at the earliest.
