The school currently has over 1,300 students enrolled. Parents said the institution has made remarkable progress under the leadership of the current headmistress, adding that the transfer is unjust at a time when the school has only recently shifted from tents and temporary structures into a permanent building.

Students said that parents and pupils had been raising their concerns on social media for several days, and today they formally protested by displaying banners at the school’s main gate.

It is pertinent to mention that the ongoing protest has also affected the 9th grade board examinations.
