Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has issued directives to complete the printing of more than 117,000 pending driving license cards across the province within one month.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transport Department has also released a district-wise schedule for the printing and delivery of driving license cards.
According to the notification, the relevant authorities have been instructed to ensure the timely provision of license cards in line with the specified dates.
As per the Transport Department’s notification, the printing of driving license cards in the Hazara Division will be completed in the first week of January 2026.
In the Malakand Division, pending licenses for Swat, Dir, and Buner will be delivered by mid-January 2026.
In the Peshawar Division, the delivery of license cards will be completed between January 23 and 26, 2026, while in the Kohat Division, the process is expected to be completed by January 29, 2026.
In the Bannu Division, the distribution of driving license cards will be completed by January 30, 2026.
Similarly, in the Mardan and Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) Divisions, instructions have been issued to complete the delivery of pending driving license cards by January 30, 2026.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi stated that providing facilities to the public is the top priority of the current government, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.
