In a tragic incident caused by a domestic dispute in the Ghundi Meera Khel area of Karak district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, six members of the same family were killed, including women and children.

According to rescue officials, the accused, identified as Farooq, opened fire, killing six people, including his two real brothers, his daughter, and his sister-in-law.

Upon receiving information about the incident, rescue teams shifted the bodies to District Headquarters Hospital Karak and Sabirabad Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police said that Farooq resorted to indiscriminate firing inside the house following a domestic dispute, resulting in the loss of precious lives. A heavy police contingent reached the scene immediately after the incident.

DPO Karak Saud Khan stated that police took timely action and arrested the accused Farooq along with the weapon. Further investigation into the incident is underway.

Police added that a case will be registered against the accused, and strict legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
