A tragic accident occurred in the Gundal area of Central Kurram, where a passenger Datsun fell hundreds of feet into a deep gorge, killing seven people on the spot and leaving three others seriously injured.

According to police sources, the vehicle was en route to Sadda when it lost balance on a mountainous route in Gundal and plunged into the ravine.

Residents rushed to the scene and rescued the injured on a self-help basis, bringing them up to the roadside from where they were shifted to Sadda Hospital.

Hospital authorities have confirmed that the condition of two of the injured remains critical. Efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased victims.
