The registration process for displaced families (IDPs) from Tirah Valley, which had been suspended for the past two days, has now been resumed. Three new NADRA verification and data entry centres have started operating in Tehsil Bara, where a large number of affected people were seen as registration began.

According to details, the newly established centres in Tehsil Bara include Badshah Khan Kalay Malikdin, Takya Centre Bar Qambar Khel, and Bara Bazaar Qambarabad Market.

Biometric verification of Tirah IDPs is being carried out at these centres, while SIM cards are also being provided by a private company. At the start of registration, displaced individuals were actively engaged in the enrollment process at all three centres.

Sources in the district administration said that the total number of newly registered and previously registered displaced families has now reached approximately 7,600.

Meanwhile, reports received from Tirah Valley indicate that daily life has been disrupted due to snowfall over the past two days.

All link roads are blocked because of accumulated snow, resulting in suspended transportation.

According to local sources, market activities have become limited and there is a shortage in the availability of essential items.

Due to road closures, people remain confined to their homes. Residents say relief efforts from Bara and Shin Qamar need to be made more effective to ensure the supply of food items to the area; however, the routes have not yet been fully cleared.
