The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority has released the number of tourists visiting the province’s tourist spots during the three days of Eid al-Fitr.
During this period, a total of over 262,000 tourists visited various locations across the province.

The highest number of tourists went to Swat Valley, where more than 186,000 visitors were recorded, while 51,886 tourists visited the Galyat area.

In addition, 76 foreign tourists were present at different tourist spots in the province.
For the convenience of tourists, Tourism Police leaves were canceled, and the Tourism Helpline 1422 remained operational 24/7.

According to DG Tourism Authority Usman Mehsud, under the instructions of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohaib Afridi and Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, excellent arrangements were made, and the public gave tourists a warm and generous welcome.
