In view of possible arrests of PTI ministers and lawmakers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the party’s central leadership has instructed them to remain in hiding and limit unnecessary movement.

According to sources, party leaders have directed provincial ministers and members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to avoid unnecessary movement and spend more time at secure locations.

The party leadership has also instructed ministers and lawmakers to keep a larger number of workers with them. They have further been directed to handle official affairs through WhatsApp.

According to sources, key PTI leaders are also present at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar amid fears of possible arrests. Sources said provincial ministers and lawmakers have increased their private security in addition to their official guards.

Meanwhile, a case regarding the alleged abduction of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Health Engineering Minister Fazal Shakoor has been registered at Chamkani police station on the complaint of his brother.

According to the FIR, unidentified armed men abducted Provincial Minister Fazal Shakoor and also opened fire on his vehicle during the incident.

The FIR states that Fazal Shakoor was travelling from Charsadda to Peshawar yesterday to attend a session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly when unidentified individuals allegedly abducted him.

According to the case, the unidentified men also took a weapon from the provincial minister’s guard during the abduction.
