A police constable was killed after being caught in crossfire during a shooting incident between two rival groups inside Rustam Bazaar in Wana, South Waziristan.
According to police, the constable was performing routine duty in the busy market when firing erupted between the two sides, leaving him critically injured.
DSP Imran confirmed that the deceased was identified as Islamuddin, son of Noor Khan. He belonged to the Wazir tribe and was a resident of the Singah area.

The body of the slain police official has been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Wana for legal formalities.
Following the incident, police launched an immediate operation and arrested two individuals allegedly involved in the firing. The suspects were taken to the City Police Station, where further investigation is underway.
