A local resident, Saqib ur Rehman, has filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court seeking action against immoral activities being carried out in Pashto language on TikTok Live.
In his petition, the applicant stated that in order to increase viewership, TikTok Live hosts engage in obscene acts, inappropriate conversations, and share unethical content.

He argued that such content adversely affects women and children in households and goes against societal values and moral standards.
The petition further stated that both religion and cultural norms do not permit such activities, and therefore, the court was requested to take effective action against the TikTok administration as well as those TikTokers involved in sharing such material.
