An honor killing incident occurred in the Chamkani area of Peshawar, where the accused allegedly killed his brother first and later his wife over suspicion.

According to reports, the victim’s daughter informed Chamkani Police that her father, Bakhtiar, suspected that his wife had a relationship with his brother. On this suspicion, he first shot and killed his brother.

The complainant further stated that the accused later returned home under the pretext of reconciliation and told the family he wanted to take them to Karachi. 

During this time, he took his wife with him and, near Wahidabad Bazar Khwar, he opened fire on her, seriously injuring her. She later died from her injuries.

Police said the incident is an honor killing case. A case has been registered and efforts are underway to arrest the accused, while further investigation is ongoing.
