The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has released detailed statistics regarding applications submitted for Secondary School Teacher (SST) posts across the province. According to the commission, a total of 184,583 candidates applied for 1,581 advertised positions.
The data shows that the commission collected a total of Rs184.76 million in application fees from the candidates.
For the General SST (Male) category, 59,410 candidates applied for 575 posts. Meanwhile, SST Biochemistry (Male) received 20,812 applications for 184 vacancies, and SST Physics (Male) received 18,425 applications for 186 seats.

Similarly, SST IT (Male) drew 7,405 applications for 51 positions. Among women’s quotas, General SST (Female) had 45,663 applicants competing for 289 posts, SST Biochemistry (Female) received 24,302 applications for 79 seats, and SST Physics (Female) attracted 6,470 candidates for 179 vacancies.
In addition, SST IT (Female) had 2,096 applications for 38 posts.
The KP Public Service Commission stated that scrutiny of all applications is currently underway. Once the verification process is complete, the list of eligible candidates will be published, followed by the written test and interview stages.
