According to security sources, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in the areas of Palangzai, Nadeem Kot and Kot Khazri in North Waziristan, killing nine Khawarij, including four commanders.

The sources said the commanders killed in the operation were identified as Khawarij Khalid Raza, Khawarij Kamran, Khawarij Musa and Khawarij Maftoom.

Security sources said a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain Khawarij, while several hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij were also destroyed.
