Peshawar: The Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory, on the request of Peshawar Police, has completed a detailed analysis of videos and audio-visual material related to the May 9 incidents. According to the report, the presence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi, Kamran Bangash, Taimur Jhagra and Irfan Saleem during the May 9 incidents has been confirmed.

The forensic report is based on material contained in a USB sent by Peshawar’s Police Station Sharqi, which included 16 videos that were examined frame by frame. The report states that no evidence of editing was found in several videos; however, the addition of logos and text was identified in some clips.

The report further notes that evidence of clip splicing was found in two videos related to Suhail Afridi and Irfan Saleem. During the forensic analysis, the profile photographs of Suhail Afridi, Irfan Saleem, Kamran Bangash and Taimur Jhagra were compared with individuals appearing in the videos, resulting in the confirmation of their identities.

According to the report, the entire analysis was limited to visual material only, and the preparation of the report was completed between December 19 and December 23, 2025.

It is worth noting that the Anti-Terrorism Court had sought a forensic report from Peshawar Police in the Radio Pakistan attack case, after which the police sent the material to the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory for analysis.
