PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to take action against individuals facilitating terrorists after revelations that some government employees were allegedly involved in assisting militant networks, according to official documents.

The documents state that all government departments have been directed to compile complete data of their employees and upload it to an online software system as part of the scrutiny process.

The Home Department has assigned a special task to relevant institutions to identify officials allegedly linked to terrorist facilitation.

Officials said strict action would be taken against any government employee found guilty of aiding terrorists, including dismissal from service.

Investigations have already been launched against several individuals, while identified suspects include government employees, contractors, and other persons, the documents revealed.

Authorities further said implementation of the provincial action plan has begun, with efforts being accelerated to strengthen law and order across the province.
