Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Chief Minister Sohail Afridi at the Governor House, where they held a detailed discussion on law and order in the province, the closure of CNG stations, wheat supply, and other important issues.

During the meeting, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that the closure of CNG stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a violation of the Constitution and that the decision is severely affecting the poor segment of society. He added that the shortage of wheat and rising inflation are also creating difficulties for the public.

The Governor said that if Punjab provides a transit corridor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can obtain wheat from Sindh. However, due to the lack of transit permission, the province is being forced to purchase wheat at higher prices. He further stated that the Sindh government is willing to supply wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
