According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent rainfall is expected to continue for the next 24 hours in Peshawar and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Light snowfall has also been forecast in the mountainous areas of Swat, Malam Jabba, Upper Chitral, and Dir.
According to the department, rainfall was recorded in most parts of the province over the past 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in Cherat at 67 mm, followed by Bannu with 45 mm and Dir with 43 mm.

Similarly, 41 mm of rain was recorded in Malam Jabba, 39 mm in Peshawar, 38 mm in Timergara, 28 mm in Takht Bhai, and 26 mm in Parachinar.
In terms of temperature, the minimum temperature in Malam Jabba was recorded at 3°C, while in Peshawar it was 15°C.
The Meteorological Department stated that the current spell of rain may continue intermittently over the next 24 hours, which could lead to a further drop in temperature.
