In Khyber district’s Tirah Valley, a mortar shell reportedly landed in the area of Seray Kandao, killing four people and injuring a teenager.

According to local sources, the mortar shell fell on the house of a man identified as Niaz Badshah.

As a result, his two sons, a nephew, and a grandson were killed on the spot, while another young boy was injured.

Hospital sources said that three bodies and the injured person were shifted to Mishti Mela Orakzai Hospital. 

The injured 16-year-old, Matiullah, was given initial medical treatment and later referred to Kohat Hospital for further care.

Local sources added that the deceased have been laid to rest, while the tragic incident has spread fear and panic in the area.
