Village Chairman Haji Khan Shinwari stated that parents believe the presence of such an item in children’s food is a serious act of negligence and could have mental and psychological effects on their children.

Parents have demanded an immediate and transparent investigation into the incident and legal action against the responsible company.

Social circles have also expressed concern over the incident, saying it highlights that food manufacturing companies are failing to effectively implement safety standards.

Relevant authorities have also been urged to strengthen the food safety system to prevent such incidents in the future.

Regarding this, Landi Kotal SHO Zahid Khan stated that the matter has been taken seriously, and orders have been immediately issued to the in-charge of Landi Kotal market.

He added that legal action will be taken against the shopkeeper who sold the chips, and the responsible company will also be dealt with according to the law.
