In Bara tehsil of Khyber district, a 12-year-old girl was killed when a mortar shell, fired from an unknown direction, landed on a house in Akakhel Karapa area.

As a result of the incident, six people including women and children were injured. They were immediately shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

 The condition of two injured women is reported to be critical.

After the incident, local residents gathered in the area, while Abdul Ghani Afridi, Bara traders’ association president Haji Syed Ayaz Wazir, Haji Ajab Khan Afridi, and Malik Attaullah visited the hospital to inquire after the injured.
