Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Provincial General Secretary, Senator Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwish, has directed party workers, office-bearers, and supporters to completely refrain from commenting on, liking, or sharing any content circulating on social media regarding Maulana Sheikh Idrees.

He stated that such content is part of a coordinated attempt to damage the dignity of religious scholars, aimed at defaming religious leadership. Therefore, workers should demonstrate discipline and avoid becoming part of spreading rumors.

Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwish further emphasized that all members should act responsibly, maintain silence, and refrain from sharing unverified content so that negative narratives can be countered.

It is worth noting that a video went viral on social media a few days ago, featuring a statement attributed to Sheikh Idrees, a religious scholar from Charsadda.

In the video, it was claimed that due to the efforts of Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, a major conflict in the Gulf was brought to an end, which elevated Pakistan’s global standing, and even the U.S. President expressed gratitude to Pakistan.
