According to British media citing Iranian state media, Iran has set a reward of $66,100 for any civilian who captures the American pilot alive.

In a statement issued by the Revolutionary Guards, it was said that shooting down the US aircraft was a “black day” for America. The statement added that through advanced air defense systems, 2 aircraft, 5 drones, and 2 cruise missiles were destroyed.

According to the Revolutionary Guards, there are reports that the crew of one aircraft failed to eject safely. It further stated that due to Iran’s air defense capabilities, the country’s airspace has become dangerous for the enemy.

An Iranian news agency also released a video showing the downing of a US Black Hawk helicopter, in which the helicopter can be seen being destroyed.

On the other hand, US officials claim that the pilot of the aircraft has been rescued, while one crew member is still missing, who was serving as a weapons systems officer on board.

According to US media, the F-15 aircraft was shot down in southern Iran.
