Significant progress has been made in the investigation into the suicide blast outside the district court in Islamabad. According to investigative sources, the attacker has been identified as an Afghan national.
Sources further revealed that the facilitator of the suicide bomber has also been arrested and belongs to Bajaur.
Police officials stated that the facilitator was apprehended during a search operation conducted earlier in the day, based on information obtained from previously detained suspects.

Police sources confirmed that five suspects have been taken into custody from various parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. They are being interrogated separately to determine who provided support to the bomber and at what level.
Meanwhile, security sources disclosed that the militants involved in the attack on Wana Cadet College were also Afghan nationals.
The attack, according to sources, was planned in Afghanistan, with the final order issued by the banned TTP's chief Noor Wali Mehsud.
Further investigations revealed that the attackers followed instructions received from handler in Afghanistan during the operation.
The practical planning of the assault was carried out by a militant named Zahid. Subsequently, on the orders of Noor Wali Mehsud, responsibility for the attack was claimed under the name “Jaish al-Hind.”
