In Lakki Marwat, a southern district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a police mobile vehicle from Shahbaz Khel police station was targeted in an IED blast near Shahbaz Khel Adda, which had been planted on a motorcycle.

As a result of the explosion, one Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and four police personnel were injured.

According to the police, those injured include SI Jamaluddin, driver Mir Hassan, another police officer, and a civilian passerby. The injured were immediately shifted to the DHQ Hospital.

A heavy police contingent has rushed to the scene, and initial investigations are underway.
