In another tragic incident in Lakki Marwat, a southern district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unidentified armed men abducted a prison police official, spreading fear and panic in the area.

According to police, the abducted official, Siddiq Khan, was posted at a jail in District Karak and was on leave at his home. He is said to belong to the village of Abdul Khel.

Sources said that near the village of Ahmad Khel, unidentified armed men abducted the official and fled the scene. Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

It is worth noting that just yesterday, an Anti-Narcotics Force official, Fareedullah, was also abducted and later killed in the same area. He also belonged to Abdul Khel. A video of the slain officer allegedly went viral on social media.

According to local residents, armed men had earlier summoned the abducted official to Doda village, where he was later shot dead. The incident has sparked strong anger and grief in the area.

Meanwhile, after today’s incident, a large number of local residents took to the streets, reportedly armed, and began searching for the attackers.

Sources further added that just last week, two youths from Beghokhel village, Safiullah and Afnan, were also brutally killed in the same area, further worsening the situation.
