Torkham: A schedule has been issued for the return of Pakistani students currently in Afghanistan. According to sources, students have been allowed to return to Pakistan today and tomorrow via the Torkham border.
Torkham FIA sources stated that during these two days, the border will remain open only for the return of students, while ordinary citizens will not be allowed to cross.
Authorities have instructed the students to arrive at the Torkham border on the specified dates with their complete travel documents.
According to sources, Pakistani students are currently present on the Afghanistan side of the Torkham border. The Afghan Commissioner stated that a list of students has been received from the Ministry of Interior, and only those listed have been granted permission.
It is worth noting that these students belong to different parts of Pakistan. They had also held protests in Afghanistan and appealed to the governments of both countries to facilitate their immediate return via land routes, as air travel expenses were beyond their means.
The students said that due to the delay, their valuable time was being wasted and they were facing severe difficulties.
