The price of gold has surged across the country, with an increase of Rs6,200 per tola.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, one tola of gold is now priced at Rs539,562. 

The association added that 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs5,316 to reach Rs462,587.

 On the global market, the price of gold increased by $62 per ounce, bringing it to $5,168.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased, with a rise of Rs394, taking the price of one tola of silver to Rs8,019.
