Security forces killed four militants during an operation in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.
According to the ISPR, the operation was carried out on September 17 following intelligence about the presence of Fitna al-Hindustan, a group allegedly backed by India. During an intense exchange of fire, four militants were killed while their hideout was effectively targeted.
The statement said arms, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the site. The slain militants had been involved in multiple attacks in the area.
Following the encounter, security forces launched a clearance operation to track down any remaining militants. The ISPR reaffirmed that the armed forces remain determined to eliminate terrorism rooted in Indian support and bring all perpetrators to justice.
