BANNU – Terrorists launched a quadcopter drone attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) check post in the Takhti Khel area of Bannu, injuring four personnel on Tuesday.

The injured were identified as Lance Naik Naeem, Lance Naik Usman, Sepoy Inayat, and cook Ziyabat. All were shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

According to officials, this marks the sixth attack on the Takhti Khel check post. Just a few days earlier, the same post came under a drone strike that killed one soldier and injured four others.

Earlier today, an improvised explosive device (IED) blast targeted a security forces convoy in the Nawey Kaley area of Bajaur, resulting in the martyrdom of Sepoy Ihsan and injuries to 19 other personnel.
