An FIR has been registered with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) over the terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, police officials confirmed on Tuesday.
The case has been filed under terrorism charges on the complaint of SHO Abdullah Jalal against unidentified militants.
According to the FIR, three motorcycle-borne attackers stormed the FC Headquarters a day earlier. One of the assailants detonated himself at the main entrance, while the remaining two entered the premises, opening indiscriminate fire. Police recovered more than 27 spent bullet casings from the scene.

Officials said the suicide blast led to the martyrdom of three FC personnel, while 11 others were injured. The wounded were immediately shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
Hospital spokesperson Muhammad Asim said that seven of the injured are still under treatment at LRH. Among those receiving care are three FC personnel and one Pakistan Air Force serviceman, all admitted to different wards and being provided the best possible medical facilities.
Four injured individuals were discharged after receiving first aid, the spokesperson added.
