Terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij launched an attack on Yarik Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan using heavy weapons. Following the assault, an intense exchange of fire continued for a considerable period between the police and the attackers.

As a result of the terrorists’ firing, Constable Muhammad Bilal was martyred, while Constable Hazrat Umar and Constable Khayal Muhammad were injured.

The body of the martyred Constable Muhammad Bilal and the injured personnel were immediately shifted to the District Hospital Dera, where the wounded officers are receiving medical treatment.

Upon receiving information about the incident, District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, SP City Murtaza Khan Bangash, SP Paharpur Iqbal Baloch, and SDPO City Circle Ghazi Malik Abid Iqbal immediately reached the District Hospital to inquire about the health of the injured personnel and review the security situation.

According to police sources, a search operation has been launched in the area following the attack, and security has been further tightened.
