An explosion occurred in the Bannu area in front of Miryan Police Station, resulting in the deaths of two people, including a child, and injuries to 16 others.

 The injured were immediately shifted to Bannu Hospital for medical treatment.

According to police sources, additional police personnel were dispatched to the scene as soon as the explosion was reported in order to control the situation and initiate a search operation.

Police officials stated that efforts are underway to determine the nature of the explosion and its possible motives, while evidence is being collected from the site. Further investigation is ongoing.
