The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KP HCC) has released its annual report detailing significant progress in regulating healthcare services across the province from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025.

According to Azm Rehman, spokesperson of the Commission, KP HCC carried out 9,100 inspections of Health Care Establishments (HCEs) during the reporting period. These inspections led to several outcomes aimed at improving healthcare standards:

2,397 HCEs were registered after fulfilling necessary requirements.
1,491 facilities were sealed for violating healthcare standards and regulations.
2,821 establishments were issued notices to rectify deficiencies and enhance their service quality.

In addition, the Commission issued:65 full licences,344 provisional licences
to eligible HCEs across the province. To strengthen capacity and awareness of healthcare standards, the Commission conducted 24 training sessions on Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS). 

These sessions benefited 486 healthcare professionals and staff from various districts, focusing on enhancing the quality and safety of patient care.

Over the year, the KP HCC received 1,111 complaints against different healthcare facilities. Impressively, 94% of these were resolved successfully, reflecting the Commission’s commitment to accountability and public service.

Mohsin Ali Turk, Director Legal Affairs at KP HCC, appreciated the relentless efforts of the Commission's staff. “Their unwavering commitment to ensuring quality health care for the people of the province continues to grow stronger with each passing day,” he remarked.
