Security forces have killed 50 India-backed militants in successful operations over the past four days in Zhob district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement, the ISPR said that between August 7 and 9, security forces carried out operations in the Sambaza area of Zhob, eliminating 47 militants. 

Following this, on the night between August 10 and 11, a clearance operation was conducted in the outskirts of Sambaza, near the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.

During this operation, three more India-sponsored militants were killed, and a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from their possession.

The ISPR confirmed that the total number of militants killed in the four-day counterterrorism campaign reached 50. 

It added that the security forces remain committed to defending the homeland, safeguarding the borders, and thwarting all attempts to undermine the country’s peace, stability, and progress.
